June 12 & 13th: Private Events, Olympic Valley, CA.

Sunday, June 14th, 4:00 pm: A conversation with Lee Wilson: Memoirs of a Career on Stage. Olympic Valley Chapel, 444 Shirley Canyon Rd., Olympic Valley CA. For 5 years, as a professional ballerina, Lee toured Europe and North Africa, dancing in grand opera houses, for royalty, and for gun-toting revolutionaries in a Roman amphitheater in Algeria. She was première danseuse for the Bordeaux Opera Ballet and later joined the Metropolitan Opera Ballet. She transitioned to Broadway when she joined the cast of Hello, Dolly! starring Betty Grable, and danced on Broadway over 4 successive decades, including playing the role of Patty in the original Broadway cast of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and finishing with A Chorus Line‘s record-breaking performance when it became the longest-running show in Broadway history. She is the author of two memoirs: Rebel on Pointe and I Danced on Broadway. Come meet Lee, hear about some of her adventures, and ask what it’s like to make your living as a performer.
